We have website that created a post on Friday Jan 25 2019. The posts did not start going out to users until Sunday the 27th and only about 70% of them were sent as of Monday the 28th. The site has approx. 900 users.
The Cron job is good and has been working fine for years and I don't see any server interruptions over the weekend.
Any ideas on why this might be happening?
Thanks
Can you check this following thing and see how many you set?

1. Backend > Easyblog > setting > notification > Process how many emails at a time

2. How long you set for the cron interval?

3. How many subscriber they should receive an email notification for those new post published on the site?

4. How many blog post publish on the site per day?

It is actually not fast enough, perhaps you can try my following suggestion and see how it goes.

1. Set 'Process how many emails at a time' to 50

2. Cron interval set to 5 minute

I have the same problem. I have a cron job that runs every 5 minutes.

I also have "Send emails during page load" selected, which I thought prudent as a backup. Are the two mutually exclusive?

Hey William,

If your cron job frequency runs every 5 minutes and have it configured to process 20 emails each time it runs, this would mean that in an hour, it should dispatch about 240 e-mails at max capacity.

If you have a lot of subscribers / emails, it is ideal that you decrease the cron interval to somewhere about 2 - 3 minutes and to increase the e-mails to 30 - 40 e-mails.
