Good Morning at Stack Ideas,

We have a weird problem with our EasyBlog modules and so far not seen this problem at any other modules. When we edit or create a new EasyBlog module it will not save.

By reading some Joomla forums we found that other have had problems with modules not saving, but this was all kind of modules. One solution was that the Isis Admin template has a problem with module saving. So we tried to change the default Admin template to the Hathor Admin template and in that template, we can save the EasyBlog modules.

The Hathor Admin template is not the template we would like to use, we will have several team members at GoGreen Portals who will find it hard to start using it. I can use the Hathor Admin template but it is a very ugly and old user interface.

Do you have a solution fro this problem, so we still can continue using the Isis Admin template and not need to switch between two templates when we want to save EasyBlog modules.

Thank you,
Finn
Hi Finn,
I tried making changes to a module and then save it under Isis admin template. The saved changes seems to be applied in the frontend. Refer screenshots below.

If you are still experiencing the issue, may I know which module and setting specifically you used that has the issue so I can better replicate the issue? Thanks.

EDIT: My apologies. I forgot that you mentioned EasyBlog modules. As such, I did a test on an EasyBlog module as well under Isis backend template(http://take.ms/nb4w6).

Hi Raymond,

Thank you for your reply.

I have just tried to add a category to a "latest blog post module" and it is not saving. I did this from the back-end in the Iris Admin template.

I now also found another saving problem. When I am trying to add tags to this blog post they don't save. Under SEO they saved at the same blog post. Blog Post with tag saving problem

This is a quite serious problem for us because we have many new blog posts to publish.

I hope you can help us out.

...Finn

Hey Finn,
I have tried adding new categories into a recent blogs module, save it under Isis template and it seems the related posts are showing properly in the frontend(http://take.ms/WYRHm). Am I missing something here?
When configuring the latest blogs module, do note that the module type determines which setting tab to use(eg. http://take.ms/nzYu5).

EDIT: For the tags saving issue in the composer, I have applied a fix file here: JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php
Can you try re-saving tags again and see how it goes? Thanks.
