I am unable to change any settings because the parameters do not show up.
Hello Theo,

Hm, is there some sort of css cache going on? I tried to login to your site and I do see the settings as you can see here, http://take.ms/VEo34

Which browser are you using to test this by the way?

Hi,

My apologies... I just tried Internet explorer instead of my default Firefox. And that worked.

However, I am now forced to upgrade but that does not work. Tried both the network as the file option. Both do not install.

The network version does not start at all and the file method reports an error with the queries.zip file. Can you have a look at this?

Hello Theo,

I was actually testing this with Firefox too. By the way, could you try to update to 5.1.2? There was a problem earlier with the installer in 5.1.1.

Hi Theo Redelijkheid,

Regarding your issue, I've successfully upgraded your EasyBlog to latest version of 5.1.2 using the launcher installer.

Thanks a lot Sam!

Everything seems to be okay, except for one thing.

It looks like the date fields to the right of the Blogs do not show the date as they supposed to be?
They are now white fields with white fore and background...

Have there been any changes in the template?

Thanks,

Theo.

Hello Theo,

Not entirely sure if I am following you here. Would you mind providing a screen shot of the mentioned problem? I believe it is most likely some template conflicts.

Mark,

Yes it might be a template conflict although I did not experience this before...

Screenshots attached.

Hello Theo,

I believe our designers actually added some touch up but here's a temporary fix. Add the following block of codes into /templates/yoo_subway/css/custom.css

[gist]
body .eb-origami .eb-post-calendar {
color: #666;
}
[/gist]

Hello Theo,

Just a heads up, this fix will be applied in 5.1.3 so you don't have to worry about adding these css in the future.

Mark,

Just tried your tips, thanks foor that...

However, I am stuck again with the upgrading process...
The installer now wants me to upgrade from 5.3.10 to 5.6.30?

And it fails again, even with IE.

Thanks,

Theo.

How did you upgrade Theo? I have upgraded EasyBlog on the site without any issues. This is what I did,

1. Head over to https://stackideas.com/dashboard to download the launcher.

2. Go to extensions manager to upload the installer, http://take.ms/f1Clg

3. Click on Proceed with installation button.

4. Continue the installation process, http://take.ms/Iqcjd

5. After the installation is done, proceeded with the next steps, http://take.ms/dVgV8

6. Once the installation and maintenance screen is done, it shows the installation complete, http://take.ms/lEXPa
