After the latest update I have noticed that as well as now not being able to add post locations that post covers are lost if any update to a page is made. This is means extra work setting new cover photos for anything I edit.
Hello Alan,

Hm, if you are editing an existing post which already has a cover, it should still exist when you edit it. Do you mean that when you edit a post that has post cover, it is missing in the editor?

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? You may store your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you don't have to provide these information all the time

I have just noticed when creating new posts that I can no longer set a category for the post, or change the category of an existing post. There seem to be a lot of bugs in the update.

Hello Alan,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have tried to replicate this on your site but wasn't able to. I tried to edit the post Rome 2003 and this is what I am seeing:

Editing Post:

1. The post cover is still there, http://take.ms/zPztE

2. I was able to to change the category of an existing post, http://take.ms/KFSiw

New Post:

1. I was able to change or add category to a new post that I am creating, http://take.ms/Vqhu6

Am I testing this wrongly?

That is very strange as I can know do it correctly. But earlier I was editing the Spain 2014 posts and lost every single post cover & none of them have returned. Where does Easyblog store the pictures used for the cover post & how can I relink these items without having to recreate them?

Hello Alan,

Hm, that is odd. Perhaps it was due to the browser's cache?

They are actually stored in the "image" column from #__easyblog_post table but you can actually just browse for the image again and pick that image by hitting the browse button, http://take.ms/7prG6
