Hi,

Re: http://communityvoicesin-westbroadway.org/ (backend login appended below)

I decided to uninstall Es, Eb, Ed, and Komento.

Then I re-installed Eb, Ed, and Komento - but NOT EasySocial.

I had been using the EasySocial login/registration on my main menu. But it has, of course, disappeared.

I want to set up a new login/registration menu item - one that will register new users as EasyBlog "Bloggers."

How do I do this?

TIA - Jeff.
Hello Jeff,

I hope i get you right here, I'm sorry but this is not possible as the easy social toolbar uses easysocial component to work properly.

Khairul

Hi Khairul,

Hmm...

I guess I could use the login/registration on the EasyBlog toolbar...

However, there seems to be something wrong with the registration screen.

The Registration form comes up ok. But the input fields do not show up, until you click on their title (e.g.) " Name:* "

You can try it at: http://communityvoicesin-westbroadway.org/

??? So maybe we can fix the EasyBlog Registration screen, so it displays properly...?

Hello Jeff,

The registration page is actually from Joomla itself. By the way, I've checked your site and seems like the fields are there but the template style has made it invisible: http://screencast.com/t/lFFqrvVaE . You can try to change to other template and you can see the fields. Hope this helps narrow down the issue.

Thanks Nik,

That was indeed the problem! I adjusted the css for the form, and it now displays fine.

The joomla form itself is pretty bad though! Do you know of a decent joomla plugin that will let me build registration, contact, etc. forms?

Thanks again,

Jeff.

Hello Jeff,

I don't really know what is the best plugin actually. You can edit the existing Joomla registration page to make it better.
