Hi

I use Easyblog, Easysocial and Easydiscuss

I have set my Easyblog setup to "login to read full post". I also have set the login provider to be Easysocial.

The problem I have been unable to resolve is the following:

* before logging in, when I visit a blog article, the login provider being used does not seem to be EasySocial. Being EasySocial is important to me because I want new users to be able to sign up using twitter or facebook.

* when the user does login, it does not direct through to the blog article that was originally clicked on.

Are you able to help with this please??

Many thanks

Steve
Thanks for reported, it seems like that was bug, can you try download my attached file and replace into this following file and see how it goes? JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php

The result is, it will redirect to Easysocial login page, but once the user after login or register, it will not redirect back to the blog post page which he trying to access previously, I will report this to our developer regarding this whether we can find a better solution to get back the previous URL then redirect it back.

Note : You have to backup your original file first before you replace the file.

Thank you for your help. I have completed the fix you have provided here and it now redirects to the easysocial login page - thank you.

If you are able to determine a fix that redirects to the original blog article that was attempting to be opened it would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks again.

regards

Steve

Hey Steven,

Regarding with that redirection issue, currently that was not possible to redirect back to the blog entry page after login is because it related both component which must work together, we still looking for the better solution regarding this.

And the next Easyblog new version will included the proper fix for the login provider.
