EasyBlog (latest version) installation stuck at 15%.

Please see attached screenshot
Hello Mark,

I tried accessing your site and it looks like your site is already running on the latest version of EasyBlog. Am I missing anything here?

I managed to fix this issue affter identifying that all of the files and folders had the wrong permissions. (i.e. 555 for folders). After changing folder permissions (manually took hours) to 755, and file permissions to 644, I was able to complete the installation.

However we still have an issue where by new blog posts are requesting a password to view, despite the fact that they are set to be publicly viewable.

I have updated the account details to include a dedicated Joomla login for yourselves to review the issue, and FTP details etc...

Hello Mark,

I believe the reason is because your browser is auto filling the password field. When you create a new post, there is an option for you to specify a post password as you can see here, http://take.ms/ZxyOU . The browser is most likely autofilling these values.

If you do not want to have such functionality, you could turn off password protection under Settings > General > General under the option "Password Protection".
