Is there a way to display the image alternative text or caption under the Popup image of the Thumbnail Block?

We do have such Galleries on Google Circles / Connections.

Currently, if we have the images embedded within the blog as individual block we could then have the caption displayed under the image as well as in image popups but then we have to adjust the images manually, if there are more than one sizes of images, to the same size as compare to using the Thumbnail block which does things automatically for the user but then, unfortunately, we don't have the captions displayed and there is no way to describe the image in popups?

Please vote for this 'Feature Request' so that we have it ASAP?
