I am really happy because of easyblog. Easyblog ensures that my team who know nothing about web design can still publish a post. I have a problem understanding what the default font is for easyblog. I have now added adjust font size. I come to the conclusion that a font size +2 is ideal as a default. Visitors to the website can still reduce or increase the font size. How do I change the basic font size setting?
Hi Davy,

Are you referring to this default value(attached)? If yes, you will have to use custom css to apply the default value. Let me know if you want to try it out.

Hi Raymond,

I am refering to that valua yes.

My template already has custom CSS. The problem is that easyblog adds inline css which overrules the stylesheet. I think easyblog is a really nice component but too much inline css is added.

My template is made to work in any viewport (on larger screens / smaller screens). Adding the inline css will break this feature. I don't want to select the font in easyblog. I want the font of the template to be used. Is there a possibility to have easyblog add less inline css?

Thank you,

Davy

Hey Davy,

If you don't want EasyBlog to use it's own styling and want to rely completely on the template, there is this setting which you can disable.
Settings>Layout>General>Include Theme Stylesheet on Front End

But if the template is not able to fully style the blog, then you will need to enable it back to rely on EasyBlog's styling.

Most custom css can be modified to work, so it's best we examine them case by case.
I don't want to select the font in easyblog. I want the font of the template to be used.
You may try disable the following setting. Users will not see the font option on the composer side panel.
Settings>Editor>General>Allow Changing Font Styles

There is another setting below this setting, which is Enforce Font Style. This will set a fixed font size on the front-end, so just change the value to the one your template is using.
