Hi Mark,

On one of the websites I just upgraded from Joomla 3.0.2 to 3.4.8 after upgrading, the admin is working fine except for the Easyblog area which is just a blank page. The front of the website is just blank.

I checked the problem by changing the config file to reveal "maximum" errors instead of the "default" and this is the error message I receive:

Fatal error: Declaration of EasyBlogTable::bind() must be compatible with JTableInterface::bind($src, $ignore = Array) in /public_html/administrator/components/com_easyblog/tables/table.php on line 30

What can I do to rectify this? As I can't access the Easyblog area of the admin, can I just upgrade Easyblog by uploading the latest version from the Extension Manager? Will this overwrite the existing Easyblog files and correct the issue?

Thanks in advance. Appreciate your help with this issue.

Best,

Jan
Hey Jan,

It's most likely that you have EasyBlog 3.9 installed and it isn't supported for 3.4.8. You need to update to the latest version of EasyBlog

I can't login to your site so I can't really check this for you.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your reply.

I sent you a login for the site in the message. Didn't you receive this?

Is it possible to simply upload the latest Easyblog from the extension manager? Would that upgrade the current one?
