Since EASYBLOG 5.1.2 Email that informs users that a new blog post is published now contains a Logo of Easyblog. See screen shot.
How can we remove or change the logo?
Hi David,

You can change email logo in setting:
1. Click Settings>Notification>general>email logo: http://screen.stackideas.com/EasyBlog_-_easyblog.com_-_Administration_-_Google_Chrome_2017-04-19_18.46.52.png

I read the documentation and it says.....

Customizing Email Logo

By default, the EasyBlog email template do not include logo. If you would like to customize the email template by adding the email logo, you can do it so by creating a template override on the main EasyBlog email template.
.........................................
So why is the logo appearing. Also the notes on where to put the code after line 26 does not look correct?
Can you check?

Thanks

Sorry for the misunderstanding, for EasyBlog 5.1 it is different from previous version, where you can change the email logo by:

1. Click Settings>Notification>general>email logo:
http://screen.stackideas.com/EasyBlog_-_easyblog.com_-_Administration_-_Google_Chrome_2017-04-19_18.46.52.png

Fadhi, further to this update, I have followed the steps above and I've found i'm having to upload an entirely new file to my site. I already have my logo uploaded to my media folder.

Why can I not source a file from my site media folder? It doesn't make any sense to have to have my logo uploaded multiple times. If the logo was to change at all, I would have to track down every place where it differs.

Can you add this please to a fix list? It shouldn't be a feature request.

Thanks
Paul

Thanks for your insights on this Paul. I find this strange because there were a lot of customers requesting the feature of uploading an e-mail logo rather than manually uploading them on the site via FTP. This is why we added the feature to upload the logo right from the settings.

Is there a way to control the size of the logo,
When I use my logo (see attachment). It gets distorted in the the email that is sent.
Is there a particular size I should use?

Hello David,

This is actually a known issue and will be fixed in 5.1.9. Temporarily download the attached file and upload it into /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/emails/html/

Hi Mark. Just noticed your reply to my earlier post. I think there is some confusion as what i was suggesting was the ability to select an image that is already uploaded to the site's image folders, rather than upload the same logo file twice. Does that make sense now?

Regards
Paul

Hi Mark.
Is the location you provided correct?
/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/emails/html/

I just checked and there is no template.php file in that location.
Also I am not using the 'wireframe' theme. I am using 'origami'.

Yep, that is the correct path. All email template files are from wireframe regardless of which theme that you use.
