Let's say, are community member leaves a comment on a EasyBlog Post. When the email alert is sent out to individuals subscribed to the Blog Post, I noticed that the email retrieved is the following;

https://mcity.pro/components/com_easyblog/assets/images/default_blogger.png

Yet, it doesn't portray what is actually on the blog comments; as some may have their individual image and some may be utilizing the default. Is there anything I may need to put into the email template for new comments and one for new posts, that will enable the correct image to be displayed on the emails being sent as notifications?
Hey there,

It seems that when I was trying to access your FTP, it gave me the following error:

Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server

The reason that I need to access your FTP is because we can have a better check of it.

I noticed that there is no user called 'tst' on your site. Did this user 'tst' comment on your post as a guest?

-Sorry about that I updated the SFTP Password in this comment and will update within my profile.

-Not sure what you mean exactly?

Do you mean that why is the image in the screenshot is a default image instead of a user's profile picture? If yes, this is because 'tst' is a guest who commented on that post so this is why there is no image of a user for the profile picture.

But I noticed that comment has been deleted already.

I just tested again by commenting as a guest and have the same result with the screenshot that you shared as shown in the screenshot.

If I tested as a user, the email shows the comment author's avatar(profile picture) correctly as shown in the screenshot.

Interesting; as I just tested by leaving a comment and both times (1-subscribing to post & 1-not subscribing)
I left a comment the notification arrived back with no default image.

Yet the blog post itself has one..
It's just not being sent out with the default avatar?

Hey there,

After long checking, it seems that it is a bug. It should show your template override default_blogger.png for your guest.

I had applied a temporary fix for you and it should be working fine.

I will log this into our issue tracker.

The screenshot that you shared, the setting is for text avatar as shown in the screenshot.

Thank you

Yes, that was enabled with the previous "tst" member; which I thought might be an issue; as I was wanting them to default to avatar image. So I disabled, just thought to bring it up, just in case...

thanks again!
