Last night we tried to upgrade to the latest 3.9 update for Easy Blog through the Easy Blog Control Panel on our Joomla site. It appears the update was not successful. Now when I try to access the Easy Blog Control Panel I get a blank page. Also, there is no Easy Blog content appearing on our website. Is there a way to reapply the latest 3.9 update? We were looking for an opportunity to upgrade to version 5.x. Would it be better to upgrade now or fix the issue first? Thanks!
Hey Brad,

May i know do you have follow this documentation?
-> http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/upgrades/upgrade-easyblog-3-9-to-easyblog-5

If no, I believe you upgrade through Easyblog 3.9 updater? if yes, can you provide us with your FTP access so we can help you on this?

Greetings, Arlex ... yup, we normally update our EasyBlog through the updater in the Control Panel, and that's what we did last night. Would you recommend applying the 3.9 update or proceed with the 3.9 to 5 update? I just don't want to lose any data. The documentation you provided seems to keep the existing databases, so I shouldn't lose anything. Just want to be 100% sure. Let me know what you recommend. Thanks!

Hey Brad,

I can access in your FTP server but it seems like you didn't point to your Joomla root folder, check my screenshot below.

Don't be worry about this, it will not lose any data from your database.

Since I can't connect with your FTP server, can you try rename these following folder in your server?
rename all the com_easyblog folder in
-> administrator/component/com_easyblog
-> component/com_easyblog
-> media/com_easyblog
-> media/foundry

After that download the launcher installer from your dashboard -> http://stackideas.com/dashboard

Then upload the installer through in your Joomla installer and follow this documentation http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/upgrades/upgrade-easyblog-3-9-to-easyblog-5

Hope this helps.
