This is actually a default behavior of color switcher in easyblog 5 currently and there should be no issue here to begin with. If you want to suggest the idea of adding default color swatches and ability to enter color code, you can voice out the idea in our easyblog voices page here, http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog .

Ah I see. Hm, this is suprising. I can actually insert the color code inside the composer as you can see from my video link here, http://screencast.com/t/cFymJD96tic . Perhaps you can try again and see how it goes?

To be honest I'm a little lost here. May I know what is the exact issue that you are facing currently? Do you mean that you are not able to manually add the color code inside the color code box as you can see from my video link in my previous reply? If that so can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly?
