Hi,

Installed and setted EasyBlog on my site.

When creating a new blog from the backend, Composer works fine.

When creating a new blog from the frontend, Composer opens a popup window to choose a template and whatever template is chosen, nothing happens and you have to close the popup window to get back.

What am I doing wrong here?

Best regards
Hey Mario,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

To add your access, simply edit your first post above or head on to http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site to insert your site access once only.

Hi Mark,

All access credentials are inserted on the link provided.

Please bear in mind there are two sets of credentials, one for backend and another for frontend. FTP credentials are also included.

Thanks in advance

I have absolutely no idea how to access your site. After entering the login details at https://lifesbest.pt/pt/comunidade , it keeps redirecting me to https://lifesbest.pt/pt/

Hi Mark,

I've tested all accesses, they work fine from this side.

Last week, Arlex Wong had the same issue but, in the end, he was able to access.

If you want, you may leave this issue until monday, no problem!

1. We don't work in the office during the weekend.

2. Our ip address will change as we have dynamic ip address.

3. This issue is actually caused by one of your plugins I believe because on the console, these errors are being thrown,

Blocked loading mixed active content "http://centova01.redelx.com:2199/system/streaminfo.js"

Hi Mark,

I removed the StackIdeas ip address from my server's firewall / whitelist as you recommended.

Checked those errors you mentioned before, my mistake, they are all cleared now.

About the issue of being redirected to the home page, I think that was SourceCoast's Alex testing a JFBConnect's issue I had but this is also fixed now (again, my mistake! ).

Now I will focus on trying to understand why the EasyBlog Composer works perfect on the backend but not on the frontend.

Best regards

I'm having the same issue with the composer. I can access it, but not modify content and/or save. This only happened after the upgrade to version 5.036.

Hi Chris Moggia,

Can you create a new ticket for yourself and add the information needed, so we can troubleshoot further this issue for you?

Thanks for understanding

Hi,

I have been checking why the EasyBlog Composer is not working on frontend, I think some other module may be causing this behavior but cannot find which one is. Would you please give a hand on this one?

Thanks in advance

hey Mario,

I've tested in your frontend Easyblog composer, it seems work fine for me, you can take a look of my video here : http://screencast.com/t/3dFLyEVu

Can you give it a try? If the issue still persists, perhaps you can guide me how to replicate this?

Hi Arlex,

Thanks a lot for your support. In the meantime I was able to spot the module that was conflicting with EasyBlog, it was the System - jQuery Easy! This one's out for good

Best regards

Hey Mario,

If you would like to use this 'System - jQuery Easy' , I can help you put all the composer script in this plugin exclude function field, so that when load Easyblog composer, this plugin will not get affected.

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for the tip on the jQuery Easy module. In fact I was able to put an exclude function on the blog page and it works. But, if you don't mind, would you please take a look, perhaps this can be achieved in a more proper way (exclude the script instead of the page?)! Also feel free to change any other setting that you find is not correct!

Best regards

Hi Mario,

I've check your setting in your 'System - jQuery Easy' plugin, since you only have issue with the composer page, I've changed the exclude path to below:

*/blog?view=composer*

Please verify again if everything working properly on your EasyBlog.

Hope this help and have a nice day!
