Dear Stackideas,

I switched from "beez3" template to "Joomlart Simpli".

Now, the datetimepicker widget in EasyBlog composer does not work anymore. The button is enabled and reacts, the opened widget is empty however.

See screenshot: the datetimepicker for creation date is only an empty "bar".

Which functionallity is needed for this?
Simpli is a CSS template only, do I need another script?

How can I debug this? There is no error message ein the console and no Joomla Debug message.

Kind regards
Ralf

Notes:
- switching back to beeze: datetimepicker works again
- editing in backend (default template): datetimepicker works
Hey there,

Can you please edit your first post at the top and include the following access please?

- Site Admin access (Please ensure that the user has super admin access)

- FTP access (We need this because if we use a file manager in Joomla, there are times where we have a typo and this might eventually break your entire back end and front end for instance if we are editing a system plugin). There is no way to save the site unless we have the ftp access.

Hi Warith,

I have not yet prepared external access.

Anyway, found the reason: Simpli and EasyBlog both define a CSS class "list-unstyled". EasyBlog at least uses a sub-tree definition but Simpli does not.
However, both do not follow BEM naming which would have been better.

Will try to rename the class in Simpli ...

Kind regards
Ralf

Hi there,

Thanks for the update. By the way, maybe you also can check with them(Simpli) theme provider regarding this and see how it goes.

Please advice.
