Would love to see the possibility to use the Easyblog composer also in EasyArticles .. is this possible ?

Ed,
I think this is not possible since EasyArticles' intention is to have Joomla native articles. Due to the extended functionality of EasyBlog, the blog articles can not be native Joomla articles...

Hello Eddy,

Yes, as Sabih mentioned it would not be possible but we are going to make EasyArticles to work concurrently with K2 and EasyBlog in the future

I too would have liked (was hoping) the EasyBlog composer was built into EasyArticles.

Hey Paul,

Thanks for the input on this. I can't really promise this functionality on EasyArticles right now only because it's almost impossible to really store the data as json data on Joomla's com_content tables

Hey Mark

At least it's on your radar.

I don't know how familiar you are with Yootheme Pro's builder. If you were able to marry the Builder (which also uses Joomla Articles) with your EasyBlog composer to achieve an article tempting system that means front-end content authors only need to 'fill in the blanks', you would have one very powerful solution.

Yootheme Pro naturally offers a powerful site building framework - doesn't have workflow for content approval.

EasyArticles offers a simple front end article creation with great workflow solution for content approval. The templating though is very 'old school' in that from what i can see, it is tables based if you want anything more than a standard vertical content layout, and it's a manual process to create those layouts.

If these two were to integrate with each other better, you would have a very powerful solution.

One day perhaps. :-)

Cheers
Paul
