Hello SI Support Team,

I'd like to use sh404sef to manage my system generated URLs. It all seems to work fine with the exception that every URL has the component name in it. An example would be:

http://mysite.com/easyblog/mypage/

Is there a way to eliminate the component name in the URL? I've looked over the settings and can't quite figure it out.

Thanks!

Mel
Hello Mel,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Can i have the permission to help you re-configure the Easyblog SEO setting and remove all the Easyblog SEF URL from your SH404SEF ? Because when i change the Easyblog SEO setting, the system need to cleanup your Easyblog SEF URL from your SH404SEF then regenerate again the correct URL.

I created alias's for my blogs. It's tedious if you have a lot of blogs, but it fixed this issue. There may be an easier way, but for me...if you put, for instance:

/EasyBlog/blog-name.html as the alias for a blog then you can set the SEF URL to whatever you'd like.

Hope this helps!
