Hi,

I have updated the easyblog (3.9.19775 to 5.0.30) in my joomla (3.4.5). But the only thing not working is the comments with the posts. In the front listing i can get the view of the comments, but when i go to a single post the comments will not show. All the options of the comments are switched on.

is there something i forgot to check / change for working? Can anyone give me some advise?

Kind regards
Steven

Hai Steven,

What can i understand from you issue is you only can comments when you login to backend admin it's, for you to comments at fronted site you can go to components easyblog-> ACL-> comments-> choose yes. This setting will show table for comments.

Very much thanks for looking at the problem. I had the translation of the program on language dutch and there is a wrong name of that option is says "Ingin opmerkingen" and it must say "Ingebouwde commentaar systeem" so anyone knows in dutch what the option means.

Sorry but I don't quite get you here. Can you please elaborate more on this please or screenshot where this option have that word.

Hi,

All comments are working know, Thank you very much .
I added a screenschot of the wrong title in the Settings -> Comments screen. So other people don't have that problem.

Kind regards
Steven

Hai Steven,

Regarding for you issue, i check you backend admin and found that you have disable comments integrations, see my screenshot:- http://screencast.com/t/KPrk0FEfSN. I have turn it on, can you give it a check now, it seems work fine now.

By the way to find this setting you can go to component easyblog-> setting-> comments-> integrations-> Built in comments-> yes/no

Hi Jasni,

Very much thanks for looking at the problem. I had the translation of the program on language dutch and there is a wrong name of that option is says "Ingin opmerkingen" and it must say "Ingebouwde commentaar systeem" so anyone knows in dutch what the option means.

But there is still a small problem, i can only comments when im login. Not like a guest? is this also an option i must turn on?

Hello Steven,

Apart of the confusion on the title, I assume your comment issue has resolved?

Hi Steven,

You are most welcome. Glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now and for language translation we will include this fix in next release version.

As a gentle reminder, kindly start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.
