Even after re-installing the component launcher, the 'Check For updates' spins endlessly and never completes. I have optimized and repaired the database tables. I have cleared all caches on the site and browser, nothing is working.

Yes it is running HTTPS. What does this change please?
I will need to know the country of support origin as well as IP if possible.
