Hello. After the update to Joomla 3.7, Easyblog (5.0.30v) categories module shows wrong url, for example: component/easyblog/categories/communication-skills?Itemid=134. Also in category, pagination creates URLs that are leading to 404-Errors.

Thanks in advance
Hi there,

Based on on your stated issues above, it seems that you didnt setup your EasyBlog frontpage menu. It would be best if you can create that first and see how it goes

If still persist, it would be best if you can provide us with your backend and FTP access for further check on this issues.

Please advice

EasyBlog frontpage menu was created earlier. With main Easyblog menu it's all good. When the mouse is hovering over a category link, i see wrong URL's (component/easyblog/..) Before Joomla 3.7 update, was clean URL's, for example: /blog/categories/communication-skills I added attachment for detailed explaining of a problem

Hi Sarunas,
Can you check your SEO settings in EB backend and see if you have set a particular menu item for routing? If yes, can you try set to default and see if the issue persists(http://take.ms/JVDcL)?

In that case, can you provide your backend and ftp access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can investigate this? Thanks.

Hello. I wrote question on the forum two days ago: “After the update to Joomla 3.7, Easyblog (5.0.30v) categories module shows wrong url, for example:component/easyblog/categories/communication-skills?Itemid=134. Also in easyblog category, pagination creates URLs that are leading to 404-Errors.”

I have tried to update Easyblog from 5.0.30 to latest version on another server. After the update i get this message: Fatal error: Call to undefined method EasyBlogProfiler::toHTML();
What is the cause of the problem?

I can provide backend and ftp access to live site where is still Joomla 3.7 and Easyblog 5.0.30. Can you guys resolve this problem? I can't even update it to the last version.

Hey Sarunas,
To confirm with you, would you like us to help you update your live site to the latest version before we investigate the url issue?
Do note that there are major changes in EB 5.1. Let us know once you have backup your site and database.

By the way, it seems I could not access your ftp(http://take.ms/sVX6r). Please advice, thanks.

I am trying to connect to a FTP server with Filezilla, but it working fine. It's also been testing FTP login on another 10 computers, it’s all good. I attached my screen capture with FTP login via Filezilla (https://streamable.com/s/ztk3c/clvwwv)

Hey Sarunas,
I have helped you update EasyBlog to the latest version on the demo site and the urls are correct now.
However, once you turn on error reporting in Joomla Global Config, there are errors with your template overrides causing EasyBlog pages to break as they need to be adapted to the latest EasyBlog files. I have helped you temporary rename these folders in JoomlaFolder/templates/yourTemplate/html/ until you are able to sort them out(http://take.ms/aLoP5Y).
