Hello,

If I try to set Easyblog -> Categories -> Details -> Language -> empty it shows up empty.
It is not possible to set language.

A test blog post is not stored in the user account, but does show up in admin -> Posts -> Drafts
eventhough the Post was sent by the user,
Hey there,

Hm, not really sure if I understand you here. What do you mean by "empty"? Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hello Mark,

Please find the access attached. Could you also repair the blog posting. If you create a post as an user in the frontend, it does not get published and remains in draft in the backend. Also, if you click publish in the frontend, there is no message "blog post published" or something which seems rather odd.

Also, the langueg should be set to Duitch NL, but if I try to set Easyblog -> Categories -> Details -> Language -> empty it shows up empty.
It is not possible to set language.

thanks and regards,
wes

Hello,

If you are using Filezilla, Please set protocol to: FTP - file transfer protocol
Do not set SFTP

and for encryption: use explicit FTP through TLS if available

port: 21

works now?

Hello,

Thanks for the access. I've checked your site and the issue is because of this error:
Call to undefined function mb_convert_encoding()

Do you have mb_string enabled on your server? You might want to consult with your webhosting about this mb_string.

Hello Wes,

The issue is because you have disabled this option: http://screencast.com/t/1cXk7Xz2vtsZ in Backend>Settings>General . I've enabled it and the language is displayed.
