I have a problem where the ability to search for subcategories in EasyBlog is no longer working. And, if you try to search for something then it appears that all of the previous category data is deselected.

To reproduce this problem you would open up one of our blogs from the back end. (Preferably one of the blogs owned by the author "Research Summaries".

Then in the right hand column under the Posts tab you would try to 'search' for a term in the Search Category field. In this case I would suggest you look for something like "Cancer".

The Category area will go blank instead of bringing up options with the word Cancer in them. This is happening almost all the time although I did navigate through the categories a bunch once and then tried to search and it started working. But, I have not been able to get it to work again.
Hi Sean Carney,

I've replicate this issue locally, seems like I can reproduce it. I've logged this issue locally and our developers will take an action for this.

Thanks for understanding

I noticed another 'symptom' of this same problem. AKA a bug.

At the same time that we can't search for a category and then select it we also can't add a category without it removing all the previously selected categories. I suspect these two are related.

Hi Sean,

I've tested the issue locally and your site seem I can add category without removing the previously selected categories. Can you provide us with video on how to replicate this?
