Hi

I have a problem with the Easyblog archive module. When I click on a month with some blog posts - for instance
January (2), I get the error:
1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

What could this be ? I hope you can help.
I just upgraded EasyBlog to version 5.1.15.

Hey Sixther,

I tried to replicate this locally but can't seem to reproduce this error. I have a feeling that this could be due to the SEF on the site. Are you using any 3rd party SEF extensions?

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue? You may store your site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so you don't have to provide these information all the time

Hi Mark

You are right. This has something to do with SEO. When I turn of Search Engine Friendly URLs in the Joomla configuration it all works fine. I am working with this on the test site here on my localhost, so I can´t give you ftp.
Hope you can help again.

regards Sixther

Hey,

Hm, is it possible for you to upload this temporarily somewhere so that I can check on this? On my local instance, it has the core SEF enabled and I don't seem to hit such errors.

Hi

No I can´t upload it. I am on Joomla! 3.8.4 and EasyBlog 5.1.15. And I have tried with the default joomla template Beez3. The problem is still there. Could it be something with my version of joomla together with the new version of EasyBlog not working together ?
What Joomla version do you have ?

Hi again Mark

If I create a hidden menu item of the type Easyblog Calendar then it is working. Is this how it is supposed to be ? Do I need to have a menuitem leading to the blogposts for the archive module to work ?

Best Sixther

Hey sixt,

Nope it shouldn't be that way. So I am pretty sure something is not right on the setup that I can't replicate it locally. My current Joomla version is 3.8.3 and I do not have any menu items for calendar.

Perhaps since this is on your local, you could use it as it is first and once it is uploaded, contact us again to look into this.
