The EasyBlog posts are appearing successfully on my Facebook pages, BUT for each entry, it has the space for a graphic, though there is no graphic (see attached screen shot). Clicking on the graphic takes the browser to the actual post on the website.

What can I do about this?
Hi there,

It is becuase you havent included any images on your blog post, and our components will automatically appended those image(placeholder.jpg) into your blog post as og:image tag as you can see here http://take.ms/TSzFl. It is required for you to included image on your post in order for Facebook to fetched them correctly.

Please give it a try and see how it goes.

Thank you. That is a very nice feature.

However, if I wanted to have a post WITHOUT a picture, is there a way for me to get rid of the "placeholder" for the picture so that it doesn't look like a blank spot?

Hey Joel,

Unfortunately we can't because eventually Facebook will also try to grab any picture that it can find on your site and it could result into worst outcome :x

So, if I put a picture in my blog post, THAT picture will appear in the EasyBlog Facebook entry -- even if I update the blog post on my website (will it update the Facebook entry)?

And there is no way to edit or remove the blank PICTURE PLACEHOLDER on the Facebook page?

Thank you for your patience with my ignorance to answer my questions.

Hey Joel,

Yep, if you upload a cover for that post, Facebook will pick that up provided that you meet their minimum requirements of their post cover which is 200x200. If you edit the post, it will not affect the post that was already uploaded on Facebook.

I believe if you edit the post, you can re-post that link and have Facebook try to crawl the site for an image. Before you do that, try posting the link on https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ to clear Facebook's cache.
