Hi there,

I've just downloaded EasyBlog 5.0.7 (full component) and tried to install it by uploading as a package file. Nothing happens. I have debug on and Error Reporting set to Maximum but there is no output, no error messages, nothing in the logs, zilch.

I've even uninstalled EasyBlog 3.9.1 and tried again but still nothing.

I note that the files in the com_easyblog_component_unlimited_5.0.7_joomla3.0.zip file look like they have just been updated (they all have a modified time of 18/06 02:35 when it's still only 17/06 21:25 here in the UK). There are no .xml files in the zip file, only 8 zip files and a setup\controllers folder with two files in it. These two files, maintenance.php and installation.php, both have a size of 0 bytes - is this correct?

I'm trying this in localhost so unable to provide a login to the site. Any help would therefore be much appreciated.

Cheers.
Hello Garry

Can you provide us with joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on this issue directly?

Did this get resolved? I have the same problem with a fresh install of EasyBlog 5.0.16 on a newly created Joomla 3.4.3 instance. I can install other components but get nothing when installing EasyBlog.

Hey Scott,

I would personally prefer that you start a new thread instead and provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this installation issue?
