No matter which way i try, Easy Blog 5 will not update from version 3.9.24862

Please can you urgently assist?
Hi Wayne,

I tried to access your site but it seems like it returning blank page upon logged in. Can you provide us with your FTP as well so we can check on the issue directly?

Hi Wayne,

I've checked your site and it seems like easyblog version 5.0.17 is installed correctly, http://screencast.com/t/Z8G1mafnm . Am I missing something here?

Now i can't view the blogs or create a menu item because of this in the URL: &view=latest
*** i just get a blank page ***

/index.php?option=com_easyblog&view=latest

if i remove this from the URL so it's only: /index.php?option=com_easyblog then it works

i've tried creating new menu link but it's the same,

please advise
thanks

in fact every link, from the blog toolbar to the stream doesn't work, unfortunately EB5 has completely stopped my website from working.

Hi Wayne,

I am sorry for the delayed reply.

I have inspected your site and I believe mod_easyblogcategories is causing this issue. I have temporarily disabled it and now your site is working correctly.

On my inspection, your site is displaying error: require_once(): Failed opening required '...\components\com_easyblog\helpers\helper.php' . Can you check for me this file permission? Can you provide us with FTP access so that we can further debug this issue on your site.

Please advise.
