This would be a great addition! I'm not sure how much of my uikit customized template will survive in the next update, so having it added to the out-of-the-box product would be fantastic.

We are considering this right now and we'll experiment with UI Kit.

This is great news!
Yootheme is implementing something called "dynamic content" to add external content to their UI so maybe there is a workaround there.

Is there any documentation that we could refer to with UIKit or any of Yootheme's templates? Yootheme is popular to not respond to any e-mails :x

thanks! You can use most of the UIKIT coding to seamlessly match with any layout. I have been working with yootheme for years now, it's awesome.

We really hope that there will not be much changes in their DOM structure. Normally, it would be nice "initially" until they roll out updates where we need to update our DOM to match theirs. The same could be said for other frameworks like Twitter Bootstrap, Metro UI, etc.

This is why we choose to not stick to a particular set of framework. Joomla and many others are falling into the same viscous cycle

So whats the pro and cons comparing to Helix Ultimate template framework https://www.joomshaper.com/helix and SP Pagebuilder Pro https://www.joomshaper.com/page-builder ??

Helix and the rest of the template frameworks doesn't seem to allow variables to be set on their custom CSS so it's not going to be possible unless they also start introducing variables on their custom css, http://take.ms/Xa2iu
