Easyblog 5.2 - Now Blog posts will not open / display

I am having the same issue with https://stackideas.com/forums/easyblog-5-2-now-blog-posts-will-not-open-display

Can you describe the steps how to resolve it?
Okay, I have made my "Blog" menu pointing to the frontpage of easyblog. It resolved the issue. However, clicking on author of a blog got an error - no author definition found.
