Hi

I am trying to update to Easyblog 5.12, and download the package file for installation "com_easyblog_full_pro_5.1.2_joomla.zip".
However, there is an error during the procedure, please refer to "error.png"

I had upload the package to the folder

Please kindly let me know how to solve this problem.

p.s. I had upload the package to the folder again
(/var/www/html/administrator/components/com_easyblog/setup/packages/), in case you need to use it.

Thank you,
Alan
Hello Wei Hun,

You no longer need to do this kind of stuffs in EasyBlog 5.1 as we have simplified the whole installation process. All you need to do is to either download the launcher or full installer and proceed with the installation steps.

I have upgraded EasyBlog for you to the latest version and it installs fine now

Hello Stan,

Can I know wow were you upgrading? You only need to go to your dashboard area at https://stackideas.com/dashboard and download the installer (be it launcher or the full installer)

Then, go to Extensions Manager and upload the package. Then, hit the install button. Proceed with the installation steps and you should be good to go.

If you are still experiencing issue, can you please start a new thread and provide us with the access to your site and we'll help you set this up and upgrade it for you?
