Hi,

since the last three EasyBlog 5.1 updates I always get the error you see on the attached screenshot when using the auto updater. I always need to download the full installation package from the Stackideas site and upload it in the Joomla installer to get the updates to work.

Cheers,
Chris
Hi there,

Yes it is. Thanks for head up. We are aware on this issue as this issues already fixed and will be included next release version.

By the way, for your information, this is because previous installation made will got cache on the site and if you use 'Update' on EasyBlog's backend, it will the last method you used on your previous installation on your site and somehow it will recognize you are using full package instead of launcher. And if you use 'Update', it will use launcher instead of using full package installation on your site.

Currently, you have to download the launcher or full package on our site as stated and manually installed them.

Thanks for your understanding and for outstanding support on our products
