Upgrade to EasyBlog 5.0.42 caused all of the subcategories to disappear from the EB Categories. None are selected for any of our blog posts and it is not possible to navigate to the child categories to select them. This is for DrCarney.com. You should already have all my site details.
I think it was a caching problem. I cleared the browser cache and then restarted my browser and things started working. I believe the caching issue occurs when I upgrade EasyBlog. I will just make sure to completely clear my browser cache and restart it in the future if this happens again.

Thanks, Sean

Hi Sean,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue, do you mean when you to EasyBlog backend and attempt to write new blog post, you cannot select the sub categories? If yes, I just tried composing a blog post at your site backend and I am able to select or navigate to sub categories. Please see this video http://take.ms/IgHsr

Do correct me if I've mis-understand the issue you've reported.

Please advise.
Sam

Crazy. I just looked and it is working now. Last night it was not working. I am baffled. One of my bloggers also saw the same thing last night. Anyhow, I guess we don't have a problem now. Not sure what happened yesterday but I won't complain. :-)

Ok. I checked again. It works good for NEW posts. But, it is not working if you open a previous post. And, some of our posts were created for future dates. If you open a previous post there is no subcategories visibly selected. You also cannot navigate to subcategories. So, that is the problem now.

Hello Sean,

Please try to purge your browser's cache as we performed some major performance improvements on the category selector and probably your browser is caching the old data.

OK. It is also not working for me for new posts.

I did just now upgrade EasyBlog to Installed Version: 5.0.44

I purged the cache in hopes that maybe this would work. I am going to clear my browser cache now and restart my browser and report back.
