Hi

On a Joomla 3.4.5 + easyblog 5.0.30 there are two issues I can't solve:

1- in the detail page of a post I can't get the author's avatar displayed as I had with Easyblog 3.9 and on http://www.pulsar-informatique.com/actus-blog/entry/optimisation-et-vitesse-de-votre-site-joomla for instance. I don't mean the AVATAR BOX (I don't want it) but even if in the Layout post options I set the "Show Author Avatar" to YES I only have the name of the author.

2-still in the detail page of a post I can't get rid of the "Already Registered? Login Here Guest" link on the comment box. I don't want the users to be allowed to login from the comment box.

Could you please help me on both issues please?

thanks

cyril
Hello Cyril,

I'm sorry but I am a little bit lost here. What did you mean by I don't mean the AVATAR BOX (I don't want it)? As for the avatar, I can see it is displayed correctly here: http://screencast.com/t/psUOcAJzbHC

For the comment box, I assume you have resolved it since I can't see the words Already Registered? Login Here Guest here: http://screencast.com/t/bYWDeslK

Hi

You can't see it since the new website with Easyblog 5.x is NOT online. http://www.pulsar-informatique.com/actus-blog/entry/optimisation-et-vitesse-de-votre-site-joomla is the old site with the old easyblog.

So both issues remain and I can't show you the new website. I attached screenshots that illustrate both issues.

thanks for your support

Hello Cyril,

For the comment words, please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/comments/form.php

As for the avatar, this is actually the default behavior for EB5. We added the avatar in the Author box below the post: http://screencast.com/t/PQSjjxkxM . Hope this helps.

Hi

Does it mean the the 5.0 version is not as mature as the previous one ? will you bundle this form.php in the next release ?
And why do we have a "show avatar" option if only the show avatar box option works ?

thanks anyway

Hello Cyril,

Does it mean the the 5.0 version is not as mature as the previous one?
- Our designer has decided to make it standardize across all themes and make it look cleaner.

will you bundle this form.php in the next release ?
- I will need to discuss this with the team first because not many request from our users about this.

And why do we have a "show avatar" option if only the show avatar box option works ?
- I think we have missed this setting. I will check on this.
