Hi. I am using easyblog for my articles and considering to switch to easy articles because i think easyblog is to heavy and have for many function wich i dont need. I am wondering if there is a way to import the easyblog articles into easyarticle ? Another this i am wondering if there is a way to have a demo picture in the template and easy swap image for the user ?
Hey Andre,

Unfortunately that was no possible to achieve this at this point of time yet.

But this is something we plan to implement this in the future.

Another this i am wondering if there is a way to have a demo picture in the template and easy swap image for the user ?

Can you check my attached screenshot below and see whether i refer to the correct place?
If yes, unfortunately that was not possible to allow user to swap to their own image because all this is under HTML content, but this can be achievable in Easyblog build-in composer image block.

Hi

I love how the Easyblog build-in composer is but to regular sites i would love to have a user friendly editor to regular joomla articles because have been having strange things happend in easyblog. the user paste in tekst with formating and there is no way to delete it, and its very big, if you dont need the extra functions. I dont understand why its not possible to swap an image, have been using jce editor and there you just click on the picture you want to change.

Hey Andre,

It requires a lot of modifications to manipulate these kind of data. When all of these are in place, it eventually leads up to bloated scripts. If I recall correctly, JCE / TINYMCE renders an iframe so that it wouldn't conflict with what is already rendered on the page but it actually adds extra weight on the browser.

This is exactly why we developed EasyBlog using contenteditable instead.

ok, thanks. I am looking for a better experience for my customers and at the same time not being to heavy. I think ill will give it a try. Do you have a roadmap at wich function you are planning. When we upload pictures in easyarticles does it make 4-5 different sizes ?

Currently we do not have any roadmap for this.

In EasyArticles, it doesn't generate 4-5 image different size when the user upload an image into the media manager, it actually same function like how Joomla media manager work in currently.
