When registering at easy social a member has to put a username. I changed the settings not to show the username during registration but that messes up a member registering. I tried to delete the username from the mandatory registration but it won't let you. Is there any way to make the username feature not mandatory for signing up. I do not want my members using usernames but instead using there real name?

Thanks guys
Hello Kenny,

Unfortunately you cannot modify this behavior because Joomla requires username in order for user's to authenticate themselves with the site. The only way around this if you really want to remove the use of username is to configure EasySocial to use email as username instead as my colleague mentioned earlier.

Hello Kenny,

I'm sorry but it is not possible to use real name as username. Currently, you can only use email as username which you can turn this option on: http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-29_0028-1.png in Backend>Easysocial>Settings>User.
