HI,

Looking at purchasing easysocial, but wanted to know if it is possible to have all the content hidden to only registered users who login?
I have a small community who want some of the features but it all has to be private, your demo shows things like whos online, current posts etc etc

Hello Paul,

You can enable "lockdown" mode within EasySocial. This way, only users that are registered on the site will be able to access EasySocial

Hello Paul,

Can you specify which features do you wish to turn off?
You can also tweak the code to make it as how you wished.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi,

It is fine having read more, that comment was not relevant,

Does Easy social integrate with any event components, like rs events? Or does it have an events part included that people can pay with paypal?

Hello Paul,

About "It is fine having read more, that comment was not relevant," I seem can't understand you properly. Do you mean having a read more in share blog to EasySocial stream is more relevant instead of EasySocial comment? Perhaps you can explain to us more so that we are able to assist you on this issue?

Currently EasySocial Event is already in road map but still in development. it will be release in the future version.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi Sorry I missed your reply,

I mean that your answer before helped me.
On my second point "Can I also turn parts off and not use the all the features?"

To explain this, for example,
1 - I enable lockdown so only registered users can access the features
2 - Can I unable parts of Easysocial so they are not in use for members, to still have an improved members area than the default joomla. For example not allow members to use the photos, blog, moods, so stripping down their options?

Hope that makes sense?

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your response. I apologize as we're not quite clear on your inquiry. From what I understand, you are basically inquiring about this :

> Enable lockdown mode
> For those who can access in lockdown mode (the registered user), the are divided into two types of user.
> User type A only have their access limited to what you want them to access (for example, you just want them to access photos and status only).
> User type B have access to all of the features

Did I get it right or have I misunderstood something? Do clarify so that we can further assist you with your inquiry.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi,

Thank you,

Kind of yes, there will be just one type of user one who registers, my be the main admin

So: User type A only have their access limited to what you want them to access (for example, you just want them to access photos and status only)
is that possible?

If so, then it improves the registered user experience even with services switched off

Hello Paul,

If I understand you correctly, there will be 1 type of profile in which Registered User and you be the admin isn't? You should create 2 profile type in which 1 is your registered user and another 1 is you. So that you can configure the user profiles much more easier. If you want to have a view what I'm referring to, you can have it try in our demo site: http://stackideas.com/demo . You can have it test and see the settings in the backend for EasySocial and what is come out at the frontend.

Regarding this, "If so, then it improves the registered user experience even with services switched off" I am sorry but I cannot understand you well. May I know which "services switched off" does you referred to?

Hope this will help.
Thanks.
