Easy discuss update to 4.0.14 failed

Installed version is outdated! Can not update to latest version 4.0.14.
Installed Version: 4.0.11
During update:
Step 1 Requirements: The minimum requirements are met. All green.
Step 2 Source: Installation via the Network.
Downloading Installation Files...Failed (during still active licence)
There are some updates performed on the launcher to fix builds prior to 4.0.12, you will need to download the latest 4.0.12 launcher from https://stackideas.com/dashboard

I did download a launcher and tried with Installation via Directory but it also FAILED.

Why I can't upgrade to latest version please check!!!

QUESTION: Can I update to latest version by installing over regular Joomla component instaltion process in admin backend in "Upload & Install Joomla Extension" and how would that affect my Easydiscuss settings ?
Will it reinstall complety new ED or will I update latest version?

It will updated you to it latest version and any setting you set wont changes unless you got some modifications on EasyDiscuss core functions. If you have made template override on your site, there are no need to worry about this update.

Maybe you required help on updating your site, can i have your permission to update them for you? Please advice.

Note:
Maybe you can do full backup on your site and Database first.
