Easy Discuss Post Length

I am finding a shortcoming with a 1000 character limit in EasyDiscuss posts.

A 2000 character limit would be more helpful in my application. Is there a setting to increase the limit of post length????

I can't find it.....
I've tried to login in your Joomla backend but I can't access Easydiscuss setting page.

Can you double check from your backend > easydiscuss > category > select your categories > Restrict discussion content length - NO

I've tried to replicate the but seems like I am able to post a content more than 1000 words: http://4x4wire.com/discussions/test-long-post Am I missing anything here?

As administrator, I tried to enter a post and received an error that it exceeded to 1000 character limit.

I can find no where to adjust that limitation.

The post I wanted to enter was 1800 characters and I could not trim it are rain the meaningful content.

I did not try to enter a comment to the post as my concern is having the initial post to be at least 2000 characters. Longer posts I reserve for the blog side.

My issue is with receiving the error on initial posting.

Problem solved. One of my categories was length restricted. That setting was not where I expected...
