Hi all, i use Version: 3.2.9744 of Easy Discuss. I wont update to other version because the layout was changed into an ugly mode and i use many css hacks.

For now i saw that isn't possible to generate new Post. i got an error: 0 - Error validating access token: The user has not authorized application 256495244464670.

I use joomla 3.8.5 but i dont know when the error began.
PS: The Post is generated in the Backend. After Reload of the forum the post is visible. So how can i stop the error?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

If i am not wrong, you hitting this Facebook error is because your previous Facebook access token already changed recently which not match with your previously that time you use your Facebook user account to authenticated in Easydiscuss.

May i know your current Facebook app '256495244464670' is it got use for another purpose like other extension also use this Facebook app as well?

If yes, i would advise you make it standalone Facebook app use for this Easydiscuss autoposting only, so those access token will not get updated.

To fix this, can you try click on the revoke access link from backend (screenshot : http://take.ms/siDdL) then go to your Facebook account > setting > app > search for your app name (app id : 256495244464670) > click on the edit setting icon > click remove app

Then go to your site backend > Easydiscuss > autopost > Facebook > click on sign in via Facebook button again.

If the issue still persists, can you update your site FTP and Facebook login access so we can better have a check?
