Easy blog update issue

Hello,

Easy blog component is worked very well on my site,
But yesterday it suddenly stop working and give blank screen, and i just found that it may need an update as new version is available,

I tried to update it using API key but it gives me an error "There was some errors when extracting the archive from the server. If the problem still persists, please contact our support team."

Please suggest me some way so i can solve it asap

Hi Michael,

I just checked your site and it seems like the composer is loaded fine both from your backend and frontend as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/AdFsoAuN3Yc3 . Perhaps there are some cache on your site. Try to clear your browser cache and see how it goes.

Hi there,

It seems like most of your directory is not writable as you can see from your backend > global configuration > system information > directory permission, http://screencast.com/t/wr35H1diev . When I tried to upload an installer it will resulting with error "copy -1 failed" due to this permission issue. Perhaps you might need to consult with your webhosting service provider regarding on this and ask them to make all directory to be writable before you can try to update your easyblog.

I update the permission and now got new error in composer.

As written in forum i assigned one category to default but still same error
