My easy blog posts are getting submitted to google webmaster tools via my sitemap but for some reason they aren't indexing. How can I fix this problem.
Hello John Weymouth,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know did you enable this option from your backend > Easyblog > Setting > SEO > Enable Canonical URL for entry page -YES ?

If already enable this option and your blog post still can't able to indexed by Google so can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this ? Please advise.

hello John,

Sorry for late reply to this,
I have checked in your site, it seems like your blog entry already indexed by Google, try take a look of my screenshot or put this in your Google URL bar -> site:http://www.medisurg.com
Or maybe some of the link cached in your Google webmaster tools? Please advise.

Whenever I pull up google webmaster tools.

My sitemap says that 68 URL's have been submitted.

And only 15 are being indexed.

Considering I have over 25 blog entries alone currently up (and thats not taking into account the rest of the website pages).

While some of our blog entries do come up in searches whenever I post a blog entry and the sitemap # gets updated the indexed # does not update.

hello John Weymouth,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Can you add my email address -> arlex.wong@stackideas.com in your Google Webmaster tools account there?

So that we can check on this why it will not get indexed.

Hello John,

Sorry for late reply to this,

I have help you fix it the SEF issues from your Easyblog component, can you try resubmit again with the sitemap and clear the cache, then wait for Google re-index again and see how it goes?

Hello John,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
To be honestly, I'm not sure how to clear the cache from Google Webmaster account
Or can you try delete the existing sitemap from Google webmaster account, then add again and wait for Google reindex again the URL and see how it goes?

I just resubmitted the sitemap and now a more correct number of pages are being indexed.

Can you let me know what you did or was this a result of me resubmitting the sitemap.

I don't think it was that because I have done that before without any results.

Hello John,

Glad to heard your issues resolved.

If I'm not wrong, I changed the EasyBlog Routing Behavior to default.
