Hello, I've just recently installed easyBlog and have not been able to use the "new post" button. The composer begins to open but does not complete. I can edit the title but nothing else. On the other hand, the quick post module seems to work.
Hello folks - just wanted to give you the heads up that the conflict was happening with the RokBooster plugin. I have disabled RokBooster and all is well.

I'm so sorry about that! I was pretty tired when I set that up. I've updated the account information. Please let me know if you still have trouble.

Thanks,
John

I've updated an additional URL to direct you to a team blog where this problem occurs.

Hey John,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

I can access your backend now, it seems like there got some conflict with your current template, perhaps you can temporary create blog post from backend.

I will try my best to figure out why become like that, by the way, I can't connect with your FTP server, this is what I getting the error :
Response:	425 Could not open data connection to port 59540: No route to host
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

Thanks Arlex. That is weird about the FTP, I seem to be able to access it from my end using that user acct. Just in case, I have added the acct info to this thread again.

Hi Mark, that is odd! I have added the ftp info again (just in case) and included a link to a google folder with screenshots showing the settings in filezilla before and after it successfully connects. Let me know if you need something different...

Hey John,

I am able to login but when I tried to access the folder /plugins/system/rokbox, it's throwing me this error http://screencast.com/t/lwY7ngMR8eev . Anyway, you can actually fix this on your own as rokbox is actually messing up with the composer.

It's documented at http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/troubleshooting/conflicts-with-rokbox

Hi Mark!

Thanks for the documentation. I made the change and linked to a copy of the changed rokBox.php file below. I also disabled the rokBox plugin on the site. Unfortunately the problem is still happening. What do you think?

Hello,

I am still unable to use the composer. I have followed the instructions here: http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/troubleshooting/conflicts-with-rokbox What else do you think could be the problem?
