Hi,
We have a big problem. We have received a warning about DSGVO because we use google fonts. But we don't use google fonts, we'd bought our own.

Now we have seen, all blog-pages on our website load external google fonts:

GET
https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Inter:wght@400;600&display=swap

See here in font checker

There are no option to deactivate it. What can we do?

Best regards
Oliver
I noticed that your site Easyblog still using an older version, can you update it to the latest version of Easyblog and recheck the Google font again?

Because we already fix this issue to use the self-host method so it won't obey the data protection rules.

Hello Arlex,

Unfortunately not. I updated it to new version and the problem is the same. On our other website too.

Best regards

May I know do you have activated any server cache?

If so, can you clear your server "LiteSpeed" cache and see how it goes?

If the issue still persists, can you update your site backend and FTP access so we can better have a check?

I noticed the current Easyblog single-click updater from the backend dashboard, it won't update the foundry library version so I've helped update the Easyblog foundry library version by manually uploading the launcher installer and performing the installation again.

Can you give it a check again? It shouldn't detect a load of any external Google font now.

So for your other domain site, you need to manually download the launcher installer from your dashboard https://stackideas.com/dashboard then upload this launcher installer from your site backend extension install page and perform the installation again.

Thank you for your help.
Will you inform your customers? In Europe there is actual a big trouble about google fonts and maps. I'm shure, nobody knows, that easy blog load google fonts without permission.

Best regards
