Hello,
I hope someone will be able to provide me with advice. I tried to upgrade Easy Blog on my husband's work website. It didn't work and now the website is down and this message shows up:

Warning: require_once(/home/fssklaw/public_html/media/foundry/3.1/joomla/framework.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fssklaw/public_html/components/com_easyblog/constants.php on line 228

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/fssklaw/public_html/media/foundry/3.1/joomla/framework.php' (include_path='/home/fssklaw/public_html/plugins/system/shlib/shl_packages//ZendFramework-1.11.7-minimal/library:.:/opt/php55/lib/php') in /home/fssklaw/public_html/components/com_easyblog/constants.php on line 228

Any thoughts on what I can do to get his website back up and running and how to update the easy blog software without this happening again. Your input is greatly appreciated. This is his work website and it is not good to have it down over the weekend.

Thanks,
Amy

Hey Amy,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Yes. How do I do that without other readers on the forum seeing my login info?

Hey Chad,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. You can insert your site details under the "Site Details" tab shown in my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/SCxsm1la

Hello,

Thanks so much for helping me out on the weekend. I really appreciate. I will provide you with the website login info. I wasn't sure what you meant by FTP login info. So I provided the cPanel login info. I hope that is the info you need.

Just an update. I sort of panicked yesterday and tried some things on my own. Hopefully I didn't cause a big mess. I was able to use Firezilla FTP to connect on the website. But I couldn't get Firezilla to work very well. I tried uploading the updated Easy Blog upzipped files but Firezilla did not complete the transfer. So I thought maybe if I delete Easy Blog, I would be able to get into the admin dashboard of the website and could at least get the website working so my husband wouldn't loose a lot of business this weekend. Firezilla also did not complete this task, which maybe is a good thing. I was apprehensive about deleting Easy Blog but I wasn't sure how else to get into the website.

So at this point you will see both the updated version and the earlier version of Easy Blog in the FTP files but neither of them is complete. The blog on the website is of course not working since I deleted some of the files. I am able to see the website and the login page for the website but when I log in to the admin joomla dashboard I get the error message:

Warning: require_once(/home/fssklaw/public_html/components/com_easyblog/constants.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fssklaw/public_html/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php on line 22

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/fssklaw/public_html/components/com_easyblog/constants.php' (include_path='/home/fssklaw/public_html/plugins/system/shlib/shl_packages//ZendFramework-1.11.7-minimal/library:.:/opt/php55/lib/php') in /home/fssklaw/public_html/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php on line 22

You assistance would be GREATLY appreciate!
