Easy Blog For Easy Social Users?

Hello,

I am very curious about Easy Blog. I just purchased the bundle to give it a try. I don’t think my purchases is verified yet, so i cant access documentation. In the meanwhile, i have a few questions…

1.) I assume i install this once i can download it (or does StackIdeas install this?)


2A). I want to use Easy Blog for my Easy Social users, and give each user an ability to start their own blog. I am thinking what would be most ideal would be to have each user have their personal blog that can be access via a URK like…

https://website.com/blog/username

or

https://website.com/username/blog


Is this possible?


2B). If the above is possible, can they set their blog to public/private, etc…

1) You can install it after downloading the installer from your dashboard. You can also ask us to help you install if you want.

2) The simplest way to shorten EasyBlog author's url would be creating this menu item(http://take.ms/g2PnM). The authors url will appear as such: site.com/authors/username

2B) By private, do you mean that only logged in users can view the blog? Or only the author can view?

If you would like to set the author's blog page privacy according to Joomla user groups, you would have to create menu item as such(http://take.ms/lY9Xn). This also means that the author cannot adjust the page's privacy.

For author's, they can set the privacy of individual posts in the composer: http://take.ms/NG5wZ
