When creating a blog post, we schedule it setting the Publish Date in the right hand column. It will publish on that date the the post itself will show the Create Date. It will also sort the post on the blog home page and another "recent posts" module by Create Date rather than by Publish Date. So, as an example, if we create a post today (12/31/16) and schedule publication next week (1/7/17) it will publish on 1/7 but will show on the post a date of 12/31 and list it on the blog home page and the Recent Blog Posts module on our site home page as if it was published on 12/31.

I've seen on other threads that this is a known issue that has been fixed but it still seems to be broken. Could you tell me how to fix it?
Hello Matt,

People would normally set the creation date and publishing date at the same time but in EasyBlog, you could choose how are the blog posts sorted under Settings > Layout > General.

On top of that, you could also configure EasyBlog to display the creation date or the publishing date which is available in 2 areas:

1. Settings > Layout > Listings (This is the listing page)

2. Settings > Layout > Post Options (This is the entry page)
