Hello Easyblog,

We have switched on 'built in comments' in the back of Easyblog and all we get at the bottom of the blog post is a 'no comment yet' box.

We have tried to install Komento, but when we try to install it acts like it is installing but then just returns to the install screen without installing Komento.

Any idea how we can fix this?

Ian
Hey Ian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. It's actually because the "Public" user group is not allowed to post comments. I have configured this for you under Settings > ACL > Public > Comments and enabled the option "Post Comments".

Can you give this a try again?

Thanks. That seems to work now. Good support.

So in future we have to enable the comments for the general public.

Is this the built in Easyblog comment?

Do you have any idea why Komento wouldn't install. Is Komento a better comments component.

Thanks

Ian

Hey Ian,

Yep, this is the built in comments for EasyBlog It's most likely the upload_max_filesize in your php.ini settings which prevented the upload of Komento
