I am using EB 5 and the latest RokSprocket they work great but I do have one issue. When i click on an article that is being displayed in a roksprocket module the article is displayed but it goes to a url I mentioned in the site details section. This URL is Different than the URL for the same article if accessed through a menu link for the blog category and then click on the link for the article. This is an issue because I am wanting to have joomla modules around the article, slideshows, calendars etc. but when it opens this way the only modules that display are those set to display on all pages. I would like to know how to make specific modules display with articles when clicked on this way from Roksprocket. I need help with this ASAP!!!
Hey Ryan,

it seems like you have disabled this Easyblog menu item `EasyBlog ยป (Posts) Frontpage` from your menu then causing Joomla do not know which Easyblog post frontpage should be use, so Joomla return back this URL /component/easyblog/..

I can see that you wouldn't like to display this `blog` type menu item display on your frontpage menu. So I have help you created a hidden menu item for this, it should work fine now. Can you give it a check now?

That is not quite the solution I am looking for On the Activities Page the Rok Sprocket Module Activities Headlines & Highlights the readmore link for TEst Cherveny it takes me to this newly updated URL as you said: (full link details are in the original site url)

/~bentonk/index.php/blogs/2015-08-09-19-57-12

and now also my Menu Item category for this teachers blog located here:

/~bentonk/index.php/teachers/kindergarten/cherveny/cherveney-blog

(the menu Item is on the right of the page Teacher PAges - Kindergarten - Cherveny - Blog)

The link to the article goes to the same newly updated URL which is good that it goes to the same place.... But now all of these articles no matter what category they are in go to the same menu item and I can not assign modules that are specific to the blog category this way.

I have many categories:

Teacher Pages
Athletics
Announcements
Etc

If a user clicks an article link for a Teacher Page I want them to see the article with modules around it geared towards Teacher pages, if a user clicks a link for an athletics article they will see the article with modules geared towards athletics. The solution you gave me puts all articles from many different categories into the same menu item which means I can not have modules specific to the category. Please help me accomplish this. Is the issue with creating the category menu items? As stated before I need help ASAP.

Hey Ryan,

I am sorry that delay of this reply, I've checked in your current menu structure and your described current your requirement at above, unfortunately that was not possible to achieve this without `Easyblog (post) frontpage` menu item is because Joomla do not know which is the Easyblog menu item priority to get it, so it will only show /component/Easyblog/...

// http://sitedomain.com/index.php/teachers/kindergarten/cherveny/categoryAliasName/BlogTitle
http://vps16194.inmotionhosting.com/~bentonk/index.php/teachers/kindergarten/cherveny/blog-cherveny/2015-08-09-19-57-12

But you can achieve this If I add `Easyblog (Post) Frontpage` menu item parent with `Cherveny`(external URL), then `single category layout` parent with `Easyblog (Post) Frontpage` layout.

// http://sitedomain.com/index.php/teachers/kindergarten/cherveny/EasyblogFrontpageAlias/CategoryAliasname/BlogTitle
http://vps16194.inmotionhosting.com/~bentonk/index.php/teachers/kindergarten/cherveny/blogs/blog-cherveny/2015-08-09-19-57-12

You can take a look of this page again :
http://vps16194.inmotionhosting.com/~bentonk/index.php/activities

The blog title should point to this URL now.
http://vps16194.inmotionhosting.com/~bentonk/index.php/teachers/kindergarten/cherveny/blogs/blog-cherveny/2015-08-09-19-57-12

May i know are you okay with this URL format?
