I have just taken over a site and its running a really old version of Easy Blog and I want to update it but dont have the Key...can I update without the key?

Cheers
Hello Shane,

It looks like your account isn't tied up with any subscriptions on our site. So when you use the updater then it doesn't work, that only available insert the valid API key for user.
Hope this help.

Thanks Arlex,

I have been in touch with the client and asked them to get in touch with the previous developer so we can get the key...

Thanks for the quick response!

hello Shane,

You're welcome, keep us updated then,

Also, It is important to take note that upgrading from major releases from versions 3.8.x or lower to 3.9.x, requires a manual upgrade via the Extension Manager. It is not possible to do this via the Updater. Please be rest assured that the normal upgrade process will not erase your blog posts or settings.

*Notice : Remember backup your customization file before update your latest version of Easyblog.

You have to tell with your client about this. Hope this help.
