I've discovered a bug connected to approving articles. They post fine if posted directly by an admin. If a user posts an article, and an admin reviews and then approves, they also post fine.

The problem is when an admin approves an article directly without reviewing. Essentially it eats the article, and cannot be retrieved. In the Joomla core it shows the article as needing approval. In EA the article does not show under drafts, posts, or pending articles. On the dashboard it shows the correct number of articles under the post count (in my case 5), but when clicked it takes me to the posts page and only shows 4 listed.

The one place I was able to find the article was on the registered users profile under the articles tab. This leads to another problem though, registered user articles (even the ones reviewed before being approved) are not showing up in the Easy Social stream like articles created by a super user.

I'm loving the potential of the new system, and know it's still pretty raw, but this is one bug that could eat a ton of important content, and needs fixed. Also, I love that EA is a similar interface as EasyBlog, but would love to see some of those more developed EB features in EA. Would also be cool to add social buttons to an article directly from EA.

Thanks in advance for the help!
Hey Will,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. Yes, you are right and I was able to reproduce this issue on my end. I have already logged this issue into our issue tracker and we'll push a fix for this in EasyArticles 1.0.4.

Hi there,

I have tried to replicate this issues on our local and it seems that i cant replicate them and it is showing as it should on my end as listed below.

Joomla backend
http://take.ms/m9ivJ

Easysocial articles' app views
http://take.ms/l6DEy

Registered user's post sections
http://take.ms/6yN5i

Admin sections
http://take.ms/ldM88

Maybe i have understand you wrongly here. It would be best if you can provide us with more explanation on how to replicate this maybe provide us steps by steps more clearly. And it would be best if you can provide us with your backend and FTP access for us further check on this issues.

Please advice.

I explained the steps pretty clearly.

1. User creates article
2. Admin approves article without reviewing first
3. Article vanishes into the oblivion

As previously noted, this does not happen if the admin reviews the article before approving.
